Viking 0 #11 November 19, 2004 good report to make. She is doing much better. Her bp had dropped down into the 60/40 range while we were in the ER. but they put her on a dopamine drip and then something that did the same job but without making her heart race at 113 bpm while laying still. They moved us to the ICU where our buddy Paul the friendly night nurse remembered us from the last episode. I didn't get to sleep until around 7 in the morning much to the suprise of all the nurses, (how can he stay up this long?! he isn't one of us!!) Needless to say i got a good chunk of the current book i'm reading knocked out. Mom flew in from Indy the second we called and she got here by 12:30 today. So she is there now taking care of buisness. When i left grandma was eating solids and was doing just fine. I'm gonna go take a shower and pass out.I swear you must have footprints on the back of your helmet - chicagoskydiver My God has a bigger dick than your god -George Carlin
Rebecca 0 #12 November 19, 2004 Bless your heart. I'm so glad she's doing better, and I'm quite sure your constant presence and love had quite a bit to do with it. My grandpa's been playing that doorbell game too, but every time he rings and waits, grandma drags him off the porch step. I think he's ready, though. Sounds like your grandma's definitely not ready, and a very tough cookie at that. Relax, and have a good weekend, OK? ((HUG)) from your virtual friend. you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?
