jumpergirl 0 #1 November 22, 2004 On the way to work this morning I heard the news guy say anyone traveling this week, or in the near future, needs to check out www.tsa.gov to get the latest on flying security and the new security procedures that have gone into effect recently. So, since we're flying tomorrow, I went to the site to see what they said. I didn't see anything other than the normal stuff. Does anyone know anything about this? lawrocket 3 #2 November 22, 2004 They're probably mentioning it as a PSA. Thanksgiving weekend is the busiest flying weekend, so they are letting you know to expect backups. My wife is hotter than your wife.

airtwardo 7 #4 November 22, 2004 They say that near holiday travel time, just to get the folks that rarely travel prepared! "Do WHAT with my shoes?" Pat-downs are supposed to be same-sex. If they aren't, that's a violation and should be reported. mh .
jumpergirl 0 #6 November 22, 2004 So far, that's what I have found. I haven't had any problems with the pat-downs. I got the impression from the report this morning that the pat-down may be more... invaiding? One of the teasers to the story said something along the lines of "you had to take your shoes off before, now it may be more" or something to that effect. flyangel2 2 #8 November 22, 2004 Oh great. I fly out on Wednesday. I guess I should plan on a three hour wait in lines.May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. AggieDave 6 #9 November 22, 2004 Hey, what if a guy needs support from an underwire as well huh? I guess I'll leave my bro at home if I fly commercially... --"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
