scottbre 0 #1 November 24, 2004 Hey all, one of my friends just arrived at Deland to discover that his lodging for this weekend had fallen through. He was supposed to stay in a friend's camper van, but turns out the van broke down and noone thought to tell the guy who was flying down with all his stuff that his place to stay wasn't going to make it to the DZ. So help a fellow skydiving out, my friend's name is Dave and he has real short hair (think military haircut), a bright yellow Wings rig and probably another bag and laptop with him. So if you see him, say hi and show him how cool Deland skydivers are. And if anyone has some extra floorspace for a fellow stranded skydiver to crash on during this Thanksgiving Holiday, you'll probably be his new best friend. subject21 0 #2 November 24, 2004 Scott, it was very kind of you to put up this forum... as luck would have it the restaraunt at Skydive Deland has wireless available. To better clarify on what my good friend was saying, I was totally left out to dry. Because my buddy with the RV didnt show up and didnt call to tell me, I have no place to stay, and no way to get back to Indianapolis.
