yoink 321 #1 November 25, 2004 I'm running Windows Server 2003 that connects to several laptops and synchronizes offline files between the clients and server. In the case of one user, when they synchronize after working offline, the message "Unable to merge offline files on \\\. The parameter is incorrect" appears, and any files that have been worked on while offline are deleted. Heeeeelp! As far as I can see, (google) that error message relates to Client Side Caching corruption on Windows 2000. What can keep causing this corruption? I've tried a clean reinstall from the client side and the same thing happens. Can one file be causing this? any information, suggestions, magic beans or solutions would be gladly received. Edit... oh, the client is running XP with all the lastest updates.
PhillyKev 0 #2 November 25, 2004 Try reinitializing the cache on the client. See here http://www.jsiinc.com/SUBM/tip6300/rh6338.htm
yoink 321 #3 November 25, 2004 Yup. Tried that and it comes up with the same error once resyncd. Good try though. cheers Kev.
