I was struck by lighting

"Walkin' down the street
I was hit by something last night in my sleep
It's a dead man's party
Who could ask for more
Everybody's comin', leave your body at the door
Leave your body and soul at the door . . .
(Don't run away it's only me)"

Whats your favorite '80s song? I'm rocking out new wave right now, how 'bout you?

I just got Morgan, I put End of the World on and sang along the entire song, not missing a word. Of course, she didn't know I had the lyrics up in a browser window. Hehehe...

You know, it would be fun to actually learn the lyrics, since its VERY easy to play on guitar. People would love that at Open Mic.:P

Okay so I decided my favorite 80s song is Ballroom Blitz by Blue Oyster Cult. It's my ringtone.

Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah
And the man at the back said
Everyone attack and it turned into a ballroom blitz
And the girl in the corner said
Boy, I wanna warn ya, it'll turn into a ballroom blitz
Ballroom blitz, ballroom blitz, ballroom blitz
Ballroom blitz
I'm so funny I crack my head open!

We didn't start the fire, it was always burning since the world's been turning.
We didn't light it, but we tried to fight it.

Ahh one of my all time favorites "We didn't start the fire". Great song to tap your fingers or bop your head to...

Wasn't that song featured in an episode of The Drew Carey Show where the cast were dancing in the street in a competition between Drew and Mimi?

My favorite 80's song would probably be Angle of Death or rain in blood by SLAYER
Master of Puppets by metallica is up there as well

Lighting? Or Lightning?

Anyway, my family knows that this is one song they have to play at my funeral. My kids were raised on Oingo Boingo, one of my absolute faves.

You need to get the original "The SWEET":)

When I first saw this thread title, I thought you walked into a chandelier. I was going to send you vibes.;)

Anyway, I'm going to agree with the Crowded House pick up above.

"Hey now, hey now, don't dream it's over..."

Are you sure it was BOC?

I think it was a band named Sweet that played that song. :D
