piisfish 140 #4 December 2, 2004 the important thing to know is not "can you sue", it's how can I get that sh*it out of my skin... Sheesh, that sue-happy culture... scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM
bshl 0 #5 December 2, 2004 Depends on whether he signed a waiver Blue skies and happy landings!
Cajundude 0 #6 December 2, 2004 Waivers don't really mean shit nowadays. Depends on how detailed they are. For example, the signs that say "we are not responsible for you car or belongings" is a complet waste of money. You could easily recover from the lot or business. A skydiving waiver is a little more detailed making recovery much harder.
AggieDave 6 #7 December 2, 2004 In skydiving its NOT a waiver. Its a contract releasing the business of liability in a high risk sport.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
hexadecimal 0 #8 December 2, 2004 QuoteA skydiving waiver is a little more detailed making recovery much harder. Ahh yea... still remember the one I signed over the summer. "Skydiving is dangerous, MMKAY?" mmkay/no __________ "Skydiving can kill you, MMKAY?" mmkay/no _______ "Death is possible with skydiving, MMKAY?" mmkay/no etc...
