flyingferret 0 #26 December 2, 2004 It REALLY does depend on the office, all very valid opinions here, but all subjective based on your workplace. I work in a small company, where work is a second home, hours are flexible and often long, and often socialize at work. I have packed my rig outside my cube. We often plays with RC cars in the warehouse during non-smokers-smoking breaks. Wednesday is loosely 'bring you gun to work day' and at 5 we clean them and then head to the range. So, in that environment, nails clippings are pretty trivial. That same environment provides a lot of flexibility, creativity, and responsibility. Based on that environment, I dont think nail clipping is any more gross than a coughing fit or blowing your nose in your cube. But then I guess if you think it is...I get away with all kinds of stuff at work, you probalby couldn't either.-- All the flaming and trolls of wreck dot with a pretty GUI. flyingferret 0 #27 December 2, 2004 I was talking about clipping them, not leaving them laying around. That is stupid and inefficient anyway.-- All the flaming and trolls of wreck dot with a pretty GUI.
nate_1979 9 #28 December 2, 2004 QuoteSo is it just me or do you all think that clipping your nails at work is not appropriate? I live in cubicle land and there are TWO people (men) who tend to their nails on a regular basis at work. Plus it gives me the willys to listen to someone else cut their nails. I do it, but then again I live at work half the time because I go underway on a submarine FGF #??? I miss the sky... There are 10 types of people in the world... those who understand binary and those who don't.

Yes, I suppose it does depend on the environment, but I work for a bank in cubicle land. It just really grosses me out, I am all for good hygeine, but I don't think it should be performed at your work desk. Sounds like you have a pretty flexible job, that's cool Clip away then! (especially since I don't work by you )

Oh shit, I did it again. I have deaf clients not blind clients.May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view.
