Frenchy68 0 #2 December 7, 2004 For the sake of argument, let's call the small town Moab... I'd have boogies twice a year! I'd show up again. lawrocket 3 #3 December 7, 2004 Small town: Good for setting up a business since people know you. Bad for settign up a business due to limited market. Good because everybody knows all about you. Bad because everybody knows all about you. Standard stuff.... My wife is hotter than your wife.

Snowwhite 0 #7 December 8, 2004 I live in a town of 40,000 people. Qualifies as a small town? I'm not sure, but I'll tell you how I started my business, which I have been successfully operating since 1986. I got involved in EVERYTHING, and I mean EVERYTHING. I volunteered at my kids school, ran for city council, served on it for 10 years, volunteered at church, serve as the Chairman of the Board of the Housing Authority, VOLUNTEER< VOLUNTEER< VOLUNTEER. People get to know you, know that they like you, trust you, and want you to be a part of the community. You can't be shy....and I'm notskydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com
skydiver30960 0 #8 December 8, 2004 I spent six years in the bustling METROPOLIS that is Cynthiana KY. 6,000 people in town, and another 6,000 spread throughout the county. When I first got there, it was my first job after college graduation and after a couple months my mom came to visit to do the "look at how all grown up her little boy is" thing. The weekend goes fine, and the next week I'm in the local grocery store and the cashier (who I have NEVER met in my life before that day) looks up, smiles, and asks me: "So, what did your mother think of Cynthiana?" Any misconceptions I had about small-town privacy were GONE after that day. Elvisio "out of the frying pan and into the fire" Rodriguez
