What's in your closet?

Recommended Posts

I've recently realized that in the last 3 years I have done the majority of my clothes shopping at boogies. I've pretty much stopped wearing make up unless I'm going out. I have, for the most part, become a boy. Now if I do dress up I feel extremely uncomfortable. I hate dresses, skirts, heels, all of it. I usually fix myself up then proceed to wipe all my make up off and brush my hair out.

Anyone else in this predicament?

I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama

Nope--I love being girly, wearing heels and skirts, but I hafta admit since I started skydiving, I've gotten more casual clothes, especially skydiving shirts!
I like to look my best wherever I go, however, now I'm more into freeflowing, comfy clothes...something I can wear at the dropzone.

:D No, I can't say that skydiving has changed my wardrobe much. I don't have that many skydiving shirts even.

Damn...guess it's just me then. I look forward to boogies so I can get more long sleeve shirts!

I think I need help. Some sort of shopping intervention of sorts.

LMAO...I have tons of nice dresses that are so out of date now because I haven't worn them in several years. My problem is I am always at the DZ when there is a nice function to go to. I do wear heals and skirts along with makeup and earring during the week but none of my pretty formal stuff.

I did go out and buy me a pretty sundress to wear when I go to Hawaii in June. I can't wait to wear it.

I don't think any of us would ever mistake you for a boy...
:P;)

Well now we have to ask for pictures because some of us have never met her in person and live far, far away, like Canada eh?

Just to be sure here are some guidelines for the pictures to be posted:
- provocatiove poses:P
- very few clothes:$
- must be high resolution and coloUr:)

Once we get pictures, we can do a poll!B|

my closet has mostly lay back d.z. clothing, but my d.z. also has social events...re: out for dinner together, par tays etc. where everyone tries to "up the notch" with dressing. It never fails, you look around at all the people you sweat with- packed in aircraft and think, "wow!", everyone looks so strange!
You do over the years loose the need for all the make up, earings, clothing...."need to appear as someone that really isn't you."

I think females confidence with skydiving comes out in many different ways....(walk across a room with head held high, beaming with radiance, a lady of class...regardless of clothing)

It is very hard for me to go shopping for clothes, I spend hr. after hr. looking to find something that "is me." But when I do- it makes a huge difference to wear something I feel comfortable in...."the proud femine lady I am.":P

SMiles;)

Have thought about going to Victoria's secret to start with the basics? If you need a male perspective, I'll volunteer, regardless of how much i hate shopping...:D:P:D
