PhreeZone 20 #10 December 8, 2004 The person last logged in at 12:26 your time, and their CURRENT local time is 10:19. If you screwup your time offset in your profile you can get some really weird things typed in there. If you sign on now it would show your last time as 2:00pm and your local time as 2:00 pm, but if Bytch signs in it should show her last logon time as 2:00pm but her local time would be 11:00am. I think thats right....Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
flyingferret 0 #11 December 8, 2004 12h26 The difference is caused by the server time zone versus yours....assuming you have your timezone set right in the profile. mouth 0 #12 December 8, 2004 OK, now that makes sense. I just couldn't understand how I logged on after I was last seen. I didn't know I was THAT good. -- Hot Mama At least you know where you stand even if it is in a pile of shit.
flyingferret 0 #13 December 8, 2004 This is the same reason that sometimes you get email from the future. Someones sending server (often spam) is way ahead and you get email from 6 hours into the future. It all has to do with the time of originating server. That being said a lot of server admins run servers on UTC to avoid issues like this, particulary since some windows OSes require 'within so many minutes' logon security.-- All the flaming and trolls of wreck dot with a pretty GUI.
