Just saw these guys are in CInci tonight

I read a couple of threads on them but my questions are unanswered.

What kind of music, why is it so cool?

So is it more comparble to yngwie's concerto, or metalica S&M

As said before in the other thread, hearing their CD is kinda like hearing the Blue Man group. It is good, but nothing like seeing them.

neither really... go to their website i think it has samples... it is basically Christmas songs with the amps on 11... but unlike poppica these guys are good.

Yeah, I found some clips on the website...

Now if only ALL christmas music was like this! Imagine walking into walmart and they play this! That would get me to stay longer and buy more stuff!

Unfortunately I couldn't get anyone to go with me tonight, but me and a buddy is visiting another buddy in Columbus soon, so that will work!

Its hard rock with a clasical touch. The reason it is so good is the band is incredible. You should check out some of the stuff they did prior to becoming Trans Siberian Orchestra. They were the band Savatage the albums "Dead winter Dead", and "Handful of rain" are incredible.
