Kristi, Did you know that Kayla's name was chosen in honor of grandma valente? everyone called her Kay so George wanted to have some variation of that in his daughter name. they agreed on Kayla. Probably $50/month until she is 18 Y/O I dont want to buy bonds because I move alot and they MAY get lost. Most IRA's(my first choice) Will pnealize her if she takes it out at 18. I am! he's gonna try to put 50 away for her and 75 away for his step son ( who is 8 or 10) but 50 isnt a lot when you think its only 10,800 of MY money. sur ethe interest will compound and make a good bit of difference but in 18 years college isnt gonna be cheap.
