adrenalinejunki 0 #1 December 10, 2004 Yesterday my Yahoo Messenger and email would'nt let me log in. Kept saying I had the wrong password. I tried to reset my password and all the information had been changed. Today my ebay account got hijacked. Luckily I changed my contact email to my dropzone.com addy. So I log in to check email earlier today and had one from a guy on ebay asking questions about a turbo for a car I was selling on there. So I ran a search on ebay and sure enough some one was selling stuff under my name! They also took over my bestbuy.com account which had my credit card account numbers on there with a huge limit on it. Luckily I have got it all straightened out except for my yahoo accounts. So now I have lost all my friends emails and screen names. Has anyone else on here been the victim of identity theft before? __________________________________________________What's the worst that can happen? Douva 0 #3 December 10, 2004 Online scammers use highjacked eBay accounts to sell their items because the highjacked accounts already have high feedback ratings. 'Tis the season to get ripped off.I don't have an M.D. or a law degree. I have bachelor's in kicking ass and taking names.

MNM604 0 #6 December 10, 2004 There are actually several great web sites you can go to that will give all of your information for small fees. Try Merlin.Com or Accurant.com. You would be amazed at what $4.95 can get you. You should also run a check on yourself and get a copy of your credit (from an actual free site). Good luck
