slug 1 #6 December 10, 2004 Scoped A couple of times one of the "benifit's" of haveing medical insurance The worst part of the procedure was the nasty tasteing junk they ask you to drink the night befor so the scope won't run into any .......stuff. Was knocked out all three times only had a problem once. The second time woke up in serious pain during the deep scope so I start screaming to let the Dr know I'm not happy and to stop hurting me. Dr tells me to stop screaming Told him I will as soon as he stoped hurting me My guess the Dr running the scope the second time was a rookie or a sadistThe wife said she could hear me screaming in the waiting room with the other patients that were going to be scoped next We always ask for a video never got one just a cheap ass polaroid. So I have to go once a year to get a scope down the throat to look an see. Not that bad at all. You get prep'd go in they put you out, you wake up.. Done.. dropdeded 0 #13 December 11, 2004 Well THAT was fun Walked in, had me lay on a bed, put an IV in, wheeled me into another room, nurse says "ready doc?" Nurse tells me "its just like Vegas, what happens here, stays here" (I remember asking for video at that point) Next thing I know Im back in the other room, she's asking me to sit up. Done deal. Doc say's hes sending some "samples" he took while he was in there out to a lab. I was fucked up and dont remember anything else. No bad vibe on the sending shit out Wants me back on the 17th to discuss the results. hmm, we'll see.
