mouth 0 #6 December 10, 2004 Make sure your shirt is neatly ironed and your pants have a nice crease. Brian425 0 #11 December 10, 2004 I know I am biased since I work for an Investment Bank; but, I would say only a dark blue or grey single breasted suit with a white shirt. If the job is very casual, you may be able to get away with Khaki's and a white shirt. Alot is judged by how you look. You only get one shot to make that first impression. I interview poeple several times a year. You will be amazed what an interviewer picks up on. In my opinion, here are the basics. 1) Fresh hair cut 2) Clean and crisp. If you wear khaki's and a white shirt make sure the are pressed professionally for the interview. Finger nails clean, etc, etc 3) Very little or no cologne 4) A fresh shoe shine 5) At least 5 copies of your resume on good paper 6) Read and understand as much about the hospital and the job as possible. The more professional you look and the more it looks like you think this interview is the most important thing you have the better. You only get one shot, there is no reserve to pull in an interview. Have fun and good luck. You can do it. B The only time you should look down on someone is when you are offering them your hand.
PhillyKev 0 #12 December 10, 2004 Don't wear khakis to an interview. Wear pressed dress slacks with a crisp crease, highly polished shoes, and a crisp white shirt. Jacket and tie are a good idea as well.

Iron/press everything and polish those shoes. Try to look your best, and be prepared on time with copies of your resume. Like was said, research the hospital and position that you are applying for and be polite during the interview. You would be an asset to the hospital, Arthur. Good luck!
 mouth 0 #14 December 10, 2004 I say go for the suit. Have it pressed and your shirt starched. Go for a white shirt and a subtle tie. Even if the job is nothing more than a entry level one it is important to make as good a first impression as possible. -- Hot Mama At least you know where you stand even if it is in a pile of shit. Wearing a suit may seem like going overboard but you never know where it may take you. You may start there but if you manage to get yourself noticed now they may just keep you in mind for bigger things later.
