cocheese 0 #1 December 10, 2004 I say this all the time when refering to a time when we didn't know squat about skydiving. When i had 100 jumps..... back in the day was when i had only 20 jumps. Now it's a few years ago.How long ago was "back in the day" for you ?
skybytch 273 #2 December 10, 2004 QuoteI say this all the time when refering to a time when we didn't know squat about skydiving. After 14 years jumping I still don't know squat about skydiving. So for me "back in the day" could mean yesterday.
cocheese 0 #3 December 11, 2004 I know i still don't know shi# about skydiving for how long i've been in it. Maybe that's why i'm still walking ? Like knowing i don't know keeps me from getting too crazy up there.
RkyMtnHigh 0 #4 December 11, 2004 Once you stop learning, you're in trouble..especially in skydiving. BTW..you do say "back in the day" a lot. As IF you're 100 yrs old or something _________________________________________

freeflir29 0 #9 December 11, 2004 What a bunch of great pics. I guess I feel kinda lucky that I made my first jump at Benning. (May 1996) I was jumping almost the same equipment (minus a P/C, sleeve, and main R/C) that my Dad made his last Free Fall jump with in 1965. I'm glad they have ditched the T-10 reserve though. The MIRPS is a nice improvement and too long in coming. Most "modern" skydivers haven't even seen that equipment much less jumped it. Well....except for that crazy ass Wingnut......Jumping a Paracommander.....
