AOL stealing bandwidth??

Recommended Posts

Everytime my roommate is on AOL through the wireless router/cable modem, my bandwidth goes to crap. At the office, it crawls during the day. Does anyone know if AOL has something going on? If so, how to I kill it?

alt+ctrl+del+ find anything with aol on his computer and kill them until only the things he needs is running ie messenger.

When you open up AOL it is like a vampire it sucks the shit out of your resources. Like adobe even once you close a pdf file adobe keeps something running in the back ground. I usually find that it uses 25-29 mb of your ram when completely closed

Of course that is all IMO.

Or kick your friend in the head for using AOL...:P

I'm an AOL leech, I use their servers for AIM but I use Trillian so I don't have to actually use their software.;)
