BoostedXT 0 #1 December 13, 2004 Hahah yeah....but I can still type. I am a golf professional and a client of mine gave some lessons to her daughter. For the past 2 weeksn they have been talking about wanting to set me up with her. I just kind of looked at it as ok sure whatever.....if so fine, if not fine too.... I just got out of my lesson with this young lady and I have say Oh my word! This girl is awesome. Funny, seems down to earth, beautiful smile, amazing green eyes.....and she comes from a good family. A 1 hour golf lesson turned into 2 hours without a single dead spot. I am just buzzing right now.....but I am concerned in the same aspect. Working on both her parents golf swing and now hers. Keep work and play seperate, but that would be hard to do in this case. I still cant even believe it......she was amazing. She smiled, she laughed, she had direction in her life, she had goals, and she just seemed down to earth. I would just like to talk with her again What are your thoughts? Would you date clients daughter/son if they wanted to set you up with them? DJL 235 #10 December 13, 2004 QuoteWhat are your thoughts? Would you date clients daughter/son if they wanted to set you up with them? As long as you take the disciplined steps to keep the two separate, and specifically, to demonstrate this through your actions to the people in your professional life. Next, develop a friendship that has nothing to do with golf. In the end you should be able to say, "And we happened to meet playing golf." BoostedXT 0 #11 December 14, 2004 Yeah.....thats my concern is that it will become to work = relationship type thing. I honestly want to see her outside of my teaching area. She was a nice girl who I would like to talk to more. As for the Golf thing being scary I say Bug off!!!!! I play golf and teach golf and make a good living. I get paid to do something I Love....what in life is better than that. I am at 19345 jumps in 1 year so obviously I havent forgot to jump! This is so crazy...I am still buzzing from meeting her. At first I was all its cool whatever, we hit it off fine if not fine.......then I talked to her and whamo..... op5e 0 #12 December 14, 2004 Go for it, else you might regret it later. Does not sound like it will conflict with work too much unless you are a prick to her, considering the parents are all for it.
BoostedXT 0 #13 December 14, 2004 I am going too....I am going to the Springs to talk with the Moms' therapist and sit in on a physical therapy sesson to figure out what is going on muscle wise so I can better teach her. While I am there I am going to dinner friday night with the parents and maybe who knows.....maybe her too. On top of that while I am there I will sleep in my tent at the DZ and jump all day saturday. Oh yes.....its 11:30 here.....12 hours after I gave her the lesson and I am still buzzing. this weekend will be awesome....and I will give you guys an update. joeFor long as you live and high you fly and smiles you'll give and tears you'll cry and all that you touch and all that you see is all your life will ever be.
