Anyone out there jumping in Superior? Give me a shout back. Do you mean Skydive Superior? I made a jump there a couple of years back. If you look for the dropzone when it isn't open, you won't find it. The dropzone is operational when the owner (Chuck?) shows up with his BA motorhome. Voila, instant dropzone. I made but one jump there, but the vibe was great. Some of the most beautiful scenery in Wisconsin, and that's saying a lot. .-Jeff. http://www.iplummet.com Common sense and common courtesy are NOT common. It really is cold here, and there was about a foot and a half of snow that fell on the opposite side of the bay from us. Jim, Dave SAID you would be the first to reply, I'll have to tell him that you were. We were gonna stop and see you on the way up here, but between the dozens of deer on the road, and the snow falling to beat the band, we decided to keep on driving. We leave tonight to head home, hope all of those deer stay in the woods where they belong. Our truck has reached its' limit, 3 deer. Hey Plummet, we drove out to the airport yesterday, and figured that the instant dropzone thing must be the way they work it here, since there isn't ANYTHING that looks skydiving related ANYWHERE. We just thought it would be nice to have a beer with a buddy...skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com
RevJim 0 #9 December 14, 2004 Well, darlin, you have my cell number, and since I assume you probably drove up I-35, you are quite some distance from me. If by chance you actually drove through WI, up I-39, you'd be about 30 minutes from me on your way back home. Let me know, as I'm always up for a beer with friends. It's your life, live it! We were gonna do the I 39 thing, but it would have added 70 minutes to an already 8 hour trip, so no go. If this trip is fruitful, Dave will have a job up here, and we will be making this trip alot, so there is hope....(or is it complete fright?)skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com
