DrunkMonkey 0 #1 December 14, 2004 Hanging up my Capt bars in Feb. Moving back to IL to pursue admission to law School. Gotta love the VA-they're paying my tuition, giving me the GI Bill, and putting the down pmt on my house, once I figure out which law school I get into. In the interim, going to room with my buddy in Aurora, the same guy who got me into skydiving 6 years ago.... It's scary, but the opportunity to get to go to law school, and have it paid for is too much to resist. The USAF has been fun, but it's time for me to seek greener pastures.. Farewell New Mexico, Hello again to the place of my birth, Chicago. I haven't lived there full time in a decade I just need to do that whole "find a job to tide me over whilst I apply to Law School" thing. Anyone in Chicago/Western Suburbs want to hire a Veteran with an BA in politics, an MBA, and a security clearance?? I needs me a J-O-B. Your best bet is to search for jobs looking for clearance and calling them even if they have no jobs available and asking them if they have a spot for you, or if they know someone that does. You will run into more dead ends than leads, but the ones that pan out will be strong.
