Yay! It's cold!

I'm so happy that it's winter! I get to go ice skating this weekend at Millennium Park, and drinking hot cocoa when it's cold outside tastes so much better. Soon, it will snow, and I'll get to have more snowball fights with my brother and nephews. I might even try skiing out this winter because I'd love to see what it feels like to do that. The air is so much crisper and clearer, and I love the skyline this time of year. I love it when the trees have ice dripping off of them, and it looks like you're walking around in some sort of crystal palace.

Heh. Its 36F outside here in College Station (wind chill of 31F) so I know what you mean.

My motorcycle runs soooo much better when its cold (after it warms up), it just seems to pop when I get on the throttle...it even sounds louder. All is well.

Sounds nice in theory... but wait until that wind chill comes through,
lets see what you think then!.. Sound really nice though, Im thinking
hot cocoa in a thermos inside a horse and buggy with a blanket, the thickest of jackets. a scarf, and leather gloves.. circling the ice skating pond with all the little kiddies having snowball fights. and snowfall... slow falling, big flakes, of joy! and the music is comming from the carolers that happens to be beside a cat's moew in their white gloves and earmuffs singing to a string quartet in their tophats and open ended fuzzy gloves.

Does anyone know where I can find this place?? I miss the tradtional holidays... no one around here seems to care.

I love kissing someone when their lips are all cold, and I warm them up! Actually, I just love it warming myself up with someone else!

I also love watching the snow fall (no, Eric. We haven't had any in awhile.) I love the way snow looks on Christmas lights.

I used to love reading by a fire place (we don't have one now, though).

Be careful! I and a date were warming up our lips one time, and a moment later we were in a really embarassing heap on the ground in front of a lift operator's booth. Seems we didn't see that we had reached the dismount point of the ski lift.
