I'm not a BASE guy, but I can't imagine packing for a sub 200 ft. deployment with my slider up. I know the gear is designed for it and everything, but......damn.

Robert used to design suits for BirdMan, as someone mentioned, he's doing his own thing now. He's probably one of the most experienced wingsuit BASE jumpers in the sport.

I couldn't believe that video. I know Robi and maybe it's just because I'm a chick but that made me want to say, "What the fuck are you doing, Robi?!" Wow, talk about no room for error.

That video is from a long time ago. I saw it more than a year ago, when I was on student status. Now I have enough wingsuit experience/jumps to have one of Robi's new Vampire V-1s on order.
