"Particle Man" explained!

What's your favorite explanation to the song? My coworker told me his today:

Particle-man represents a particle.
Triangle-man represents change (you may have seen that in an equation or two )
Person-man represents a person
Universe man represents the universe.

Since particles don't want to change and want to stay in motion unless something acts upon them, Particle-man obviously loses to Triangle-man because particles will change (friction, other forces, yadda yadda yadda). Since people don't want to change either, Person-man gets into a fight with Triangle-man, but people change no matter how much resistance, so Person-man loses to change. Universe-man has no qualms with anyone since the universe is where it all takes place!

i love that song, i always wondered what it was about but didn't waste much time thinking about it. it's just kind of a quirky, can't-help-but-smile kind of a tune. i like the theme to 'malcolm in the middle' too. 'yer not the boss of me now, yer not the boss of me now and you're not so big, life is unfair'...
