SpeedRacer 1 #1 December 22, 2004 Monday afternoon I started feeling a cold coming on. After work I was feeling worse, scratchy throat, tired, &maybe the beginnings of a fever. I went & got these lozenges called "Cold-EZE" which contain zinc glyconate which you're supposed to take at the first sign of a cold. So I felt a little feverish that night, but felt a bit better in the morning & went to work on Tuesday & started feeling a lot better by the end of the day. Here it is Wednesday & the cold is pretty much over before it could really ever get bad at all, and I just have a barely-noticeble residual scratchiness in the throat & that's going away. It's great to be able to get over a cold that quickly before the holidays! Speed Racer --------------------------------------------------
freeflir29 0 #2 December 22, 2004 That stuff never did much for me. I find that massive amounts of vitamin C are more effective.
flyangel2 2 #3 December 22, 2004 I have found that taking Vitamin C daily helps cut down on the colds.May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. linny 1 #4 December 22, 2004 I'm glad to hear that you bypassed your cold. That's awesome... wish I could say the same for me I took Cold EZE and massive amounts of Vit. C last night when my throat started feeling sore... I woke up today with a severe head ache and unbearable body aches... So bad infact that laying down and trying to sleep was pure misery. boo hoo hooo
