shropshire 0 #13 December 23, 2004 If that's s'posed to be his shadow.... it's in the wrong place... The shadows on his body imply that the original light source would probably be above and to HIS left, yet he's casting a shadow that is left of him.. (.)Y(.) 3ringheathen 0 #14 December 23, 2004 Quote So is that big green shadow you, Josh? Sadly I have a plain old black/dark grey shadow like everyone else. I refused to video this guy because I thought his lack of opposable thumbs to be unsafe. One of the other, less conscientious videographers noted that there's nothing in the BSRs about having opposable thumbs. He even encouraged the jump. I don't want to name them, but it rhymes with bomb willups. Anyway, just as I feared, and just as Tom hoped, the jumper in the picture went in with no handles pulled. Tom is in negotiations with Surreal TV right now. Stay tuned. -Josh If you have time to panic, you have time to do something more productive. -Me* *Ron has accused me of plagiarizing this quote. GTAVercetti 0 #18 December 23, 2004 Since the shadow seems to be one of the many interesting things about this, I feel the need to relay a story: At breakoff during a 4-way, I was tracking off. Unfortunately, winds were higher up top than anticipated and at breakoff I was tracking towards a cloud (scattered clouds, with none above so the sun was shining). I got enough distance separation and stopped my track so I would not be tracking through it. And then I saw what looked like another person through the haze of the cloud! For a second I freaked out; I thought I was about to get hit by an opening chute. I was wrong. It was just my shadow. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing. turtlespeed 226 #20 December 23, 2004 His Harness is pink. He doesnt appear to have any eyes, ears, nose, or mouth. As was stated before - there are no fingers or thumbs. His Cypress did not function - that is obvious because the apparent "ground" has his shadow on it - roughly calculated - he is 30' above the ground. and last but not least - he doesn's seem to be falling very fast. I mean - I was looking at this guy for a good 5 minutes - hasn't moved much at all. He might just make it.I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun
