During the holidays, we socialize and give gifts. Sometimes, life gets in the way. By the end of the week, all of lifes racing about overtakes us. We don't have time for friends and togetherness. The holidays put us back into those moments. They force us to remember how it feels to be among friends and family. We remember how good it feels. Relationships are the sum of the events, good and bad. It is important to keep adding good stuff. Gift giving. Some people give out of obligation, some for the gift that they receive in return. However, so realize that the best part is the good feeling that you feel when you are doing something nice for another person. It is important to re-experience that, from time to time, so that you remember. That is the value of the holidays. It forces us to remember the importance of our relationships and the good feeling of being nice to others. Personally, I have been having a wonderful time reminding people that I love them.
