Getting to see old friends during the holidays when they visit from college.

Watching a hilarious movie and laughing about it with friends.

My dog running to the door and getting all excited when I come home from work.

My cat falling asleep on my tummy while I lay in my bed watching tv.

My mom buying me Napoleon Dynamite today after I told her how much I loved watching it last night.

All the last-minute grocery shoppers on Christmas Eve being very pleasant and very patient.

Getting to see my brother during the Holidays for the first time in 13 years.

Seeing my nephew's face when he saw us pull into the driveway.

I'm so funny I crack my head open!

unfortunately those that have abused drugs (or the pleasure center of their brain) do not get those rushes that last only a tad sometimes- that overwhelming content feeling- that all is well.
That little burst of delight that makes us realize, all is well...........

Soaking in a hot, relaxing bath
My mother's homemade meals
My doggie's adorable smile (yes, smile!), happy wiggles and tail wags
The excited, happy talks of fellow jumpers, walking back from the landing area, after an awesome jump!
My boyfriend's kisses on my forehead when we've fallen asleep curled up on a couch while watching a movie
A family that is happy and healthy, and who love me dearly

Spending all day with my son. Taking him to the Cyclorama in Atlanta and probably teaching him the first things he has ever heard about the Civil War. Teaching him that Grandma is a "Damn Yankee" cause she stayed. Telling him about the fact that Tecumseh Sherman almost burned down Grandma and Grandpa's house. Laughing hysterically when he asked if they were in it. It's been a pretty good day.
