Skydiving near Miami

I'm going to be in Miami next week and would love to get some jumps in away from the cold of Chicago.... so any suggestions as to dzs around there? I have been to z-hills before but according to their site they are something like 4 hrs from Miami. I looked up skydive Miami, which looks like the likeliest place to go -- any feedback about that dz from anyone that's been there? I am also going to be bringing a friend who wants to do a tandem.

Skydive Miami in homestead, Fla....

Skydive Miami (Homestead) is a very nice DZ. People were very warm and friendly when I showed up - and I didn't know a soul when I went there. By the time I left, I would definitely count them among friends. It is totally worth your time. Bring some food/munchies as there really isn't anything close by although they do have vending machines.

Life is short! Break the rules! Forgive quickly! Kiss slowly! Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably. And never regret anything that made you smile.

Skydive Miami in Homestead will be your closest! If you get the chance take a drive up the coast and visit Sebastian, too! We have lots of Ft. Lauderdale & Miami located people who drive up here for the weekend to play with us.
