AggieDave 6 #1 December 31, 2004 The A&M 4-way team "Circus Cessna" did well for their first time out of the chute, they have no tunnel time and only about 150 jumps apiece, scored no zeros and learned a lot. They did come in at the back of the pack, but next year will be better for them. FF didn't happen for me this year, my FF partner wasn't able to make it at the last minute, so I did style. I've never tried style, turned out pretty good, obviously didn't place (academy folks did...duh), but I did enjoy myself. Sport Acc was where the action was at. I didn't win, but I was cranking out some pretty good swoops (as well as was Jeff Mullins, who should have won but he got knocked down in points due to the judges calling that a finger touched the ground during his swoop). Mullins did well overall (obviously), taking home a good few medals and of course the academy folks cleaned up as well. Georga Tech and Emerory Riddle represented VERY well. ER's FF team are my heros. This was my last collegates, but I'm motivated for the Aggie team next year. The 4-way team will mostly stay intact and be MUCH more experienced AND they're going to compete in a lot of other events (a couple of them have asked to be coached in freeflying to compete in that next year as well). So look out next year Florida, the Aggies will be back. Give me a couple of days to recover from the drive and get my back feeling better and I'll post some videos and pics. --"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
