:P:D

either way it's a good question asked
(I just don't want to be the "1st" to have to use my insurance)

SPECIFIC Insurance like that isnt. Health and Auto of course is "budgeted" but the homeowners/renters just doesent work for me. Just that simple.

Ugh........that is a cop out. If it's important enough to you, you can budget it in. If you can budget to make skydives, you can budget to get renters/homeowner's insurance. It's all about priorities.

No No NO It ISNT a cop out. Insuring a home that doesent exist or insuring my rented domicile-that ALSO doesent exist. Is the reason I posed my question of IS THERE OTHER SEPERATE INSURANCE. Judgement by you is irritating. I cannot insure what I do not have. I value my rig and camera gear most of all-but need a suggestion as to how I can give it the coverage it needs and still make you happy. If i skydive- I know about prioritising thank you. Nobody skydives without learning some lessons on that...redundant.Sheesh. Yes, sheesh.:|Insurance for that is not part of my budget not because i dont have either of those policies to add it to. Pay attention-I was asking for suggestions to remedy this.

Thinkin about chainsaws.......

nsuring my rented domicile

Renters insurance doesn't insure the apt, or room, it insures your stuff. When I moved from TX to CO and changed my car insurance to CO my renters insurance went with it. It was no big deal and I didn't have to pay much for transfer fees, actually I only think I had to pay transfer fees on the car not the renters.

Just talk to an agent, they can explain how it works if you have to move and such. From your replies it's hard for me to tell where you are staying when you move, but I have a feeling as long as it's not a box you should be able to get coverage.

Here is were I stated to call around. Yes it is about priorities, or else you would have taken the initiative (The power or ability to begin or to follow through energetically with a plan or task; enterprise and determination.) before now to call different agents and ask your questions.

So, if you don't have a job, how do you pay to travel and drink and smoke? You mean to tell me that even your wing suit dives are paid for by someone else? That's one sweet deal.

Kelly, let me know when you can take a Friday off from work, and we'll hit the slopes.

Not actually one (1). It's two policies, just with the same insurance carrier. And, they'll generally give you a discount if on both if you have multiple policies. Last renters policy I had was tied to my car insurance. After discounts on both, the renters was $35 more a year for $40k coverage.

I believe she is heading out the last weekend in Feb. We'll be on the slopes that Friday. Hey, Renee, is that the right dates?

But you on the slopes, I will pay big bucks to see that:ph34r: I'll even buy your lift ticket.

Hell yea, the more the better. We can even get a nice room up there and sit in the hot tub after a day of riding.

Don't stand me up Eric.

are you living with friends or parents, if you're not renting and don't own a home? if so, your stuff may be covered under their homeowner's insurance. You'll have to check with them. If you're a student, there are companies that sell personal property insurance for students living in campus housing. (example: national student insurance company, $5000 in insurance, $50 deductable is $7 a month. That's two starbuck's coffees.)

Otherwise, you can either attach it to your car insurance, or get a policy that insures the rig only.
