GravityGirl 0 #1 January 3, 2005 It just so happens that my little girl is turning 4 on March 6th. AND it just so happens that there is a training camp in Sebastian that I would love to attend on the 5th! Do you see where I'm going with this? Does anyone know how to score some discounted tickets to Disney World? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
flyangel2 2 #2 January 3, 2005 Do you have AAA? I think they offer some kind of discount.May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. Nightingale 0 #3 January 3, 2005 ask a college student in the area. Lots of times universities have ticket centers that sell tickets for local attractions. My college sold disneyland tickets at a discount, so maybe they do that in florida as well.

PhreeZone 20 #5 January 3, 2005 Disney sells packages for multi days at a discount. Typically people discover that its cheaper to buy that 7 day pass that includes something stupid like free Tram fare then it is to buy a 5 day package and pay tram fare. They know they are only going to be there for 5 days so they sell the extra tickets back to agencies that thats all they do is broker in the discount passes. The whole drive down from Ohio to FL 2 years ago I saw signs for them Talk to Skymama, she could point you to the right group. soulshine 0 #6 January 3, 2005 Not sure if they're still doing it, or if it will even help you, but they used to have great military discounts. Bombing for peace is like fucking for virginity! ~DEVIOUS BEEF~~FGF #69~

skymama 37 #12 January 3, 2005 QuoteTalk to Skymama, she could point you to the right group. LOL...I usually try to avoid theme parks! I do know AAA offers discounts and that there are places on International Drive in Orlando that offer discounts but I think those are the places that make you go on a time share tour first. As of Jan. 1st, all of the parks in the area raised their prices....again. white_falcon 0 #13 January 3, 2005 This may sound hokey, but its what my family and I do. Contact one of the time share places. (once u contact them one time, youll forever get stuff on fax if you provide them a number). The deal is, you get 2,3,4 nights (whatever the current deal is) PLUS generally they INCLUDE park passes for two and, you get to stay in a 5 star resort. The ONLY catch is, you must give up about an hour and a half on ONE day to do a tour of the time share so that they can try to talk you into buying. It generally costs us only $99 per adult for 2 -3 nites and the accomodations are awsome. May sound chinzy, but it works for us. Also, a lot of times they will throw in additional places to go to as well, and you DONT have to do the tour at the additional ones, Its how we are going to Mexico for 5 days in the spring, all we had to do was provide our own transportation, and the 5 star resort is free. edit - except for the room taxes, but Im not complaining. Hope this helps. Scott
flyangel2 2 #14 January 3, 2005 Looks like AAA offers a discount only if you are there for more then one day. http://ww1.aaa.com/scripts/WebObjects.dll/AAAOnline.woa/2000/wo/ObbwKdAYbV7gNytVrUpML0/2.SYCASList.9.7.2.1.0.1.2.3.0.0.0.2.2.1.1.0.1.1.0.0 QuoteWalt Disney World Resort® in Florida Adult Child (3-9) 4-Day Park Hopper $215.13 $172.53 5-Day Park Hopper $244.95 $195.96 6-Day Park Hopper Plus May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. slug 1 #15 January 3, 2005 We did the time share routeKind of like sitting in a car dealership just keep on saying no. The best one we were at there was a couple who's pregnent wife said she was sick after 15 minutes and had to leave I recommend taking the 4 y.o. with you to the time share presentation, after 15 minutes give the baby a pinch on her bottom so she'll make a fuss and the sales people will be happy to give you the tickets. Squeak 17 #16 January 3, 2005 So what does it cost to go to Disney world, my Floridian firend is insisting that we go,so I'm booked to be there next week (I'm not a them park person either, especially when the tunnel is down the road)You are not now, nor will you ever be, good enough to not die in this sport (Sparky) My Life ROCKS! Stacy 0 #17 January 4, 2005 for JUST the magic kingdom you pay about $60 per person per day. that includes nothing. I hate disney parks. way too much $$, lines are horrendous, and the park food is outrageous. Seriously, for what you will pay for a day at the park including food, etc, you could just go fly 15 mins in the tunnel. much better option.
flyangel2 2 #18 January 4, 2005 I think this trip is more for the daughter. The look on my boys' faces when we went to Disney World was well worth every cent I spent. They are both teenagers now, and remember every minute spent at the park. Heck they still have those silly hats and the water bottles I bought them.May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. Let the kids know anything goes at the promo You'll have you $50 tickets/person & kids in 15 minutes $50/head to disney world is big money unless even if your going solo Those time share salesmen are very funny, They called on night and wanted me and the wife to attend..... Sorry don't want to take the wife, how about me and the girlfriend? skymama 37 #21 January 4, 2005 Don't forget that you also have to pay about $7 for the pleasure of parking in their parking lot. A small lunch of a burger, fries and a drink will cost at least $10. I get around that by bringing water bottles and little snack foods in a backpack. They do search your bags when you go in and you're not supposed to bring food, but most of the Searchers let that stuff go. If you do go, make sure you get a "fast pass" when you can for the popular rides. It beats standing in line for an hour. I also heard once that if you go first thing in the morning, go to the left because most people naturally go to the right on their way around the park. As for the time share presentations, I'd pass on it. They don't let you out in 15 minutes, it's at least 1 1/2 hours of high pressure sales. I don't have the patience for that! She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
MWGemini 0 #22 January 4, 2005 My wife and I spent our honeymoon at Disney World last week and I paid $466 for two 4 day park hopper passes. I don't think we received any kind of discount. Parking each day was $8, and we usually ate at the cheaper places and spent roughly $20 per meal for both of us, sometimes more, sometimes less. If you go when it is not as crowded, you will probably not need all 4 days to see everything. None of the security screeners minded that we brought in our own water bottles and snack food. Their security checks are nothing more than window dressing, in my opinion. The fast passes are definitely the way to go when trying to ride all the big rides and not have to stand in line as much. Also, if someone in your party is disabled (ie- wheelchair), they usually let you go up the exit ramp or something and straight to the head of the line (or at least a lot closer than you were). If you have already been to Disneyland, you won't see a whole lot of new things at Disney World. The biggest difference is that Disney World is 4 separate parks, whereas Disneyland is just one.
