Viking 0 #1 January 5, 2005 holyhell I'm gonna be confused on where to take patients for a few weeks. lol As soon as i know my way around i think i'll be able to do this job with no problem. And even cooler is that we tend to hang out in the radiology department when waiting to move people. Got my scrubs today................they are HUGE!! i had to roll up the cuffs just so i wasn't walking on them the whole time. Which was a suprise b/c i'm 6'3' I think that once i get to know my way around better i'll be able to really get into this job. One of the guys that i work with said he got one of those things that counts how many steps you take and it said by the end of the day he had walked around 6 miles! lol guess i'll be getting my excersise!I swear you must have footprints on the back of your helmet - chicagoskydiver My God has a bigger dick than your god -George Carlin

JohnMitchell 16 #6 January 5, 2005 Congratulations on your new job. What's your official title? It can be cool working in a hospital, lots of drama and excitement, but a lot of sad stuff happens too. You're in a position to do a lot of good things for a lot of people. Make the most of it.

I can.......get people up out of bed to go to the john, slide them up on the bed a little, transfer someone out of there bed and into a wheelchair or cardiac chair, transfer them to whatever department for tests and then take them back to there room, transfer the deceased to the morge. We do all the stuff the Nurses/CNA's/LVN's don't want to do b/c they don't have the time, or fear hurting themselves doing it. And no the only time i have to clean up puke, piss, shit or anything else is if it get on me i havn't been overflowed on yet but my co-workers tell me to wait a little while.
