So what are your New Year's Resolutions? (and have you already broken them?:P)

I got a few simple ones -
-be more forgiving this year
-volunteer more
-triple my jump numbers
-run another marathon.

Shouldn't be too hard! :D

-run another marathon.

ooh, i like that one. 3 years back my resolution was to do the AIDSRide (330 mile bikeride) and i did, and i have to say it was one of the most rewarding resolutions i've ever made. not only was i in great shape but i felt amazing after finishing it. i've been thinking of signing up for a marathon but i dont know if college, work, and jumping will allow time to train for it.

my resolutions:
-lose the weight i gained in australia
-stop spending so much when i go out (i buy everyone drinks at the bar)
-more BIG BOOGIES!!!!:D

Hey bobby,
I'm looking at early fall sometime. Most likely on the East coast somewhere but I'm not averse to travel...

Get on your horse and we'll do it! There was some talk awhile back about 26 skydivers doing a marathon and then a 26 way right after. We never found 26 skydivers to run a marathon though...:S

After reading all of your posts, I would like to say that my New Years Resolution is to run a marathon, but I don't think I could pull it off....

So... instead I gave up drinking soda. It helps keep me hydrated so I can run my daily 3.75 miles. I've made it a whole 6 days. I think I'll pull this one off.

I'd love to run a marathon. It's one of my life goals. Want to train me? Hehehe :P

... seriously.... :)

if you can run 3.75 miles daily right now, then theres no reason you cant run a marathon in a few months if you train for it. ive got a friend who was very overweight and had never run a day in his life and with a little bit of training he successfully completed a half-marathon. i know that its only half as much but i know that there are plenty of organizations out there that offer free marathon training (the AIDS Marathon for example has running groups and trainers provided when you sign up as long as you raise the money).

now i know im saying all this even though ive never run a marathon, but i definitely will in the near future. im just going to wait til after college because of my time schedule.

giving up soda is great. i did that back when i was slightly larger in high school and quickly lost weight. soda=evil! haha. ok, enough rambling for now. good luck and stay motivated!:)

my big one is not a resolution, it's a decision... And I still don't smoke...

Will help me have more endurance, and also increase my wingloading without downsizing.

And have more money to jump more or get some other stuff... My calculation is I can buy a 300d with what I used to smoke yearly.

I don't really have a new resolution, but since it is the beginning of the year, I am more inspired to follow through with my goals:

---get my A license

---get back to running 6 miles a few times a week

----give more of myself away, through money, donations, time, volunteering

----get better grades this semester

----make an effort to prioritize my relationships

----and MOST importantly, make my jump numbers go through the roof :D ( at least for a college student that is)

Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...
