kelel01 1 #3 January 5, 2005 I buy from them all the time. Particularly used books and movies. I just bought a Swingers/Made combo thing for $11.
skymama 37 #4 January 5, 2005 I've shopped from them a few times. They have free shipping on some orders over $25, so with the discounted books and free shipping, it beats going to the store if you already know what you want. She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon

murrays 0 #12 January 5, 2005 I buy pretty near all my books from them and a lot of DVDs. I buy enought at one time to get free shipping and as a bonus don't pay provincial sales tax which saves me 7%. Their prices on books are also much better than what I can get here. Amazon 7 #14 January 5, 2005 HUH.. What did I do now... I am in Seattle but I aint a billionaire I only have my old Infinity for sale and a helmet and a couple canopies....oh and a 50% certificate for a PD canopy....
Shotgun 1 #15 January 5, 2005 I buy tons of stuff from Amazon. They usually have the best price on books, dvd's & cd's... and the free shipping is great... (or really low shipping if you buy used stuff from their merchant shop - which I sometimes sell through as well)... And I don't think I've ever had a problem with any of my orders from them... which is more than I can say for quite a few other online businesses I've dealt with (and that's saying a lot since I probably do way more business with them than anyone else online). In fact, I was just sitting here reading a biology book I bought from Amazon... until I took a break to go to dz.com. Last year logged in from America I purchased almost all my christmas presents online on their .co.uk website and had them delivered gift wrapped to my family in the UK. Very convenient. Other years I've bought a bunch of "Toys for Tots" orders through them for direct delivery to the Marine's program. This year I purchased almost nothing from Amazon, no particular reason. Looks like I missed the boom. I do quite a bit of online shopping at various sites, I've never had a problem.
