dropzonefool 0 #4 January 4, 2005 what did you chose as the topic of your first presentation? The one that can not be about skydiving, not a skill. Tell me your and I'll tell you mine!

dropzonefool 0 #6 January 4, 2005 Kewl, I chose electrical safty in the home, an easy one for me, being an electrician. I have many tools and props to use for the course, however I am wondering how Rob will be grading. I realy think I am making too much out of it. You know the dramitic presentation, use of visual aids whole thing. I realy think this is going to be very involving, I only hope it is fun!
skymama 37 #7 January 4, 2005 I'll be at the dz on Saturday, but what is the AIC? You'll have plenty of warm temps. We're supposed to have 15 days of above average temperatures. It's near 80 these days. She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
skybeergodd 0 #8 January 4, 2005 It's the Advanced Instructor Course. It's pretty new and Rob Laidlaw is the only one right now who teaches it. I'm not exactly sure what to expect either but I figured it was a good excuse to get away to warmer weather.
NoShitThereIWas 0 #9 January 7, 2005 It's near 80 these days??? Yep that little Shit (Skybeergodd) will be in Florida skydiving in 80 degree weather while us poor Missourians here back home will be ... Wait, our forecast isn't looking too shabby ... it is going to be a high of 60 here on Sunday and on Saturday, a low of 40 and a high of 50 in Sullivan ... Yep, we'll be jumping, it won't be 80 degrees but we'll be jumping. So let me make an "official" correction to the Skybeergodd. Kelly, the "freezing" temperatures will be here waiting for you just as you arrive back at Lambert on Wednesday. Yep, Wednesday is the day we are supposed to get that Arctic cold front coming in (which is the day you get back). Nice mild temps until then though. There now, I don't feel SO bad anymore. The bottom line though is that it won't be as warm here in Missouri without my Skybeergodd . Good luck to everyone attending the AIC course. Kick some butt and I hope you Deland folk take my hunny out and show him a good time while he's there. (But don't have too much fun without me) (Edited to add): oh and BTW, look at Andrea's post. See ... there's someone else who didn't know what the AIC was and she even lives near Deland. (uh-huh, himph)Roy Bacon: "Elvises, light your fires." Sting: "Be yourself no matter what they say."
