LouDiamond 1 #7 January 8, 2005 Believe it or not, I bought it at a bazaar here on DVD with 4 other still in the theatre movies on it for $2. I wouldn't put it high on my list but it did make me laugh a few times and I thought the story and the message, was pretty good. I also speak spanish so I may have got a bit more out of it than someone who doesn't speak the language. I can tell you this though, women are going to like it. I wouldn't call it a chick flick but it is one of those movies that falls in the middle ground. In all honesty, I wouldn't be surprised if Sandler/Spanglish gets recognized or nominated this year. If you're going to it to see Sandler act like happy Gilmore, save your money, this is probably one of his most serious roles."It's just skydiving..additional drama is not required" Some people dream about flying, I live my dream SKYMONKEY PUBLISHING
AggieDave 6 #8 January 8, 2005 I speak spanglish...also known as border-town spanish. Between my spanish and their english an understanding is met, but neither of the parties can speak the language very well. Comes in handy around places like Lareado and Brownsville. Man, I've got to get better at spanish.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
