Why the Zhills boogie kicked so much ass

Recommended Posts

I was thinking about this on my drive back to Jax, and can't come up with just a single reason. One thing I know for sure - that was one kickass boogie we just had! B|:P:)

I drank a bottle of Patron on New Year's Eve, but was quite mellow for some odd reason. Met a lot of DZ.com'ers for the pre-second time. Met some old DZ.com friends I hadn't seen for a while. Had some seriously kickass jumps with several people, ending off with a freefly zoo with DaGimp, ChopChop, and RockyMtnHigh. Did a kickass multiplane load with Okalb and friends for a huge DZ.load.

Can anybody else come up with a single reason that stands out or is it a conglomeration of reasons for everybody else as well?

Hope you Eloy folks had as much fun as we did! Missed my west coast friends, but I drank some tequila in your honor. Lots of it in fact. >:(B| Mmmm...tequila...I am going to have a sip of Herradura before I hit the rack. I think I'll drink some more tequila in honor of everyone! Right now!

yours in agave,

The weather was so awesome! Warm, clear, sunny:)

I have lots of pics, but will put them up on another site. they are too large in file size for attachign here. maybe later tonight.

Met lots of good people. Had lots of good drinks. Great jumps on Friday, got my PMS #. Enjoyed watching Jib and Bean try to teach Galen HD after Baileys, beer, champagne, vodka, etc etc. the pirate idea was hilarious and will be insane again next year.

Walk the Plank! :D

I think it was the huge diversity in the group that makes something like this so fun.Diversity not only in age or background but also different DZ's and different parts of the country.Throw in that you almost know some of these people from DZ.com and hell you have a party.I saw the same thing at the Panama City Boogie and in Dublin at the St.Patricks Boogie.I for one had a great time.Z-hills will be on my list for next, oops, this year.Hope to see you all in Dublin in March.

Dude - that fireworks display was REALLY kickass! I mean that was a better show than some cities have put on for 4 July!

B|

Because Johnny went to S. Carolina and filled his van to the top, literally. It was stuffed. :)
Friday:
The Muff Brothers fireworks and the dz fireworks going off at the same time.
Over 500 people lined up at midnight between the hangar and the end of the swoop pond to watch night jumps. B|
Tony putting a Giant slide show on the side of the hangar for everyone out there. B|
People walking the plank into the swoop pond. :D
The techno dj and light show in the bunker going at 3am.
Kramer organizing night jumps.

Stacy/Galen for bringing the blue stuff.
Billy for organizing the Pirate thing.
Boxman for attempting the skull/cross-bones jumps.
All the girls for dressing like pirate-wenches during dinner.
The Finns for passing around the Saloniekki (ok, it's a Finnish word that I can't spell).

Chris S. and the Ga. guys being the base.
People like Katie, S-M one, and DaGimp for travelling from all over to hang/party/jump with us.

Whoever brought the bubble-maker swords.

Everybody jumping their butts off and we ran 3 Otters back-to-back all day Friday. Over 50, maybe 55 loads, on Friday alone.

Saturday:
Oren for organizing the dz.com jump and others.

All weekend:
The people organizing all the freefly and flock jumps. There was a flock jump every other second.

80 people at the bonfire after 1am laughing and talking about awesome skydives. B|

...bunches of other stuff

Back off, sheep boy!!! :P

You KNOW it was really ME they were wishing was there.

It's all about ME! Not you!

If you don't believe me, just ask my CRWcoach or my #1 Rodriguez daddy. They'll tell you! :D

Are we called "DAWGs" because we stick our noses up people's butts? (RIP Buzz)

I had a great time at the boogie, but I think next time I'll bring a flashlight. There's something very annoying/scary about rooting around in your tent when it's pitch black outside. :D

It was also very nice to meet Vinny and RockyMtnHigh! B|
