Leaving tomorrow morning for 6 months

Recommended Posts

Aight folks just wanted to give y'all a shout out before I left for Chile tomorrow. I'll be in Santiago for 6 months studying abroad. (And you know I'm bringing the gear :)).) I'll pop in and check my dz.com email every once in awhile but it will probably be too expensive for me to whore on Bonfire all the time. So y'all have fun and I'll see you all at Rantoul in August (ppsssst now that Eloy is over it's time for the Rantoul thread to start!!). Adios!

Hey Mikkel,

Have an awesome time. Try to learn something.;)

Take care buddy,
Chris

Dos cervesas frias, por favor!

Now I just have to learn how to ask for a liquor drink and I'll be set.

i can tell you this from my experience. studying abroad, youre not really gonna learn much in school, youll learn plenty about the culture and whatnot, but your grades will most likely be shite. its ok though, cuz youre gonna have the most amazing experience of your entire life. enjoy yourself, and keep us updated on how its going down there :)

wahoo! So happy for ya little dixie---let us know how everything goes over there ( especially the skydiving!)
I am planning on studying abroad next fall, either Scotland or Austrailia. My RA is going to Scotland and would love to have someone w/ her, so that's incentive for me to, since I'll know someone. But Scotland has no skydiving! [:/] ( at least according to dz.com)

oh well, have fun and STUDY somewhat while you're there! ;)

You may already be gone, but have a good time nonetheless. We had fun throwing your butt off the New River Gorge Bridge at Bridge Day, so be sure to visit again later this year.

I had a blast in Chile you lucky bastard! They have great wine, intoxicating women, beautiful mountains and a great history. If you can travel down to Punta Arenas (southern most city in the world) and possibly check out the Straits of Magellan, they're magnificent. We had deep sea fisherman bring us monster crabs from the depths. The people are exceptionally friendly, and being an American, you'll
be in demand by the caballeras. You'll also see where those old Fords, Chevies and Chryslers went to. Valparaiso is where you want to be for the night life yet Santiago is not far away. Learn some salsa too. The country is very scenic and the climate compares to the northern east coast. I'm jealous. And when you're out at the bars, after "Uno cerveza porfavor?" don't forget, "Donde esta el bano?"

You're always the starter in your own life!
