Pat Hall's Ash Dive

Recommended Posts

Conway, sounds like it went off great. Good for you. But, I didn't know you were married!

From the newspaper:

Quote

Conway G. Hall said if his wife had remained healthy, she would have made the dive.

"She would try anything," Hall said.

Hall said in addition to being an avid golfer, his wife liked to fish, and family members considered scattering her ashes in Galveston Bay.

"But she didn't like to get in the water, so I think this was the ideal thing, to do it over the golf course in our neighborhood," he said.

One of those in attendance was Hall's sister, Jean Ellis, who said her sister would have been moved by the aerial tribute.

"She would have thought it was wonderful," Ellis said.

That was Conway's father speaking about Conway's mother, I believe?

Oh I see that now! You would think that the writer would have made it more obvious that the Conways were different people.

But thanks to her son Conway "C.P." Hall
