Parafoil27 0 #1 June 28, 2009 My my front risers have swoop loops with cables in them. This makes it hard to pack my rig good and clean. Can i cut them off with a seam ripper? I don't need them at my skill level anyway. Or if not does anyone have any tips on how to pack them cleanly. They are type 8 so i doubt anyone would want to trade . EARTH! A tip that Mirage gives to pack risers cleanly: lay the risers side-by-sde instead of one-behind-the- other. Laying the risers-one-behind-the-other will cause a bulge on the side of the container. **don't get rid of them...you'll want them sooner than you think :-)
Parafoil27 0 #3 June 28, 2009 Cool. Thanks for the tip! I would mind keeping them if they would pack flat like the normal ones do. EARTH! Short bus of the universe, since the year T+10.3 billion! REV. DUDEMIESTER D.S.#
ZigZagMarquis 9 #4 June 29, 2009 Good: Pointing out to the OP the tip from Mirage. Bad: Why are you even hinting to a person with apx 1 year in the sport and less than 50 jumps that they may want something to do with swoop loops sooner then later? Sorry, just my opinion and y'all know what they say about opinions.

Sorry, just my opinion and y'all know what they say about opinions. Just because they have "swoop" in the name, doesnt mean that the jumper intends to do high performance landings. It's just a fancy dive loop that is intended to stay open and be easier to grab. After all, it is a USPA A-license requirement to do front riser dives and turns. Dive loops (of whatever variety) make it easier.________________________________________ I have proof-read this post 500 times, but I guarantee you'll still manage to find a flaw.
