Dammit, I hit some black ice this weekend and did ~$3800 damage to my truck, only 140 miles into a 900 mile round trip. I was able to pull the bumper far enough off the tire to drive, used tin snips to cut off the plastic parts that were dragging/rubbing on the tire, and used baling wire and hot glue to get the headlight secured (approximately) where it belongs. These temporary fixes and some white-knuckle driving allowed me to still see the game, and my team couldn't even do me the courtesy of winning! I want my $2,000 back!
