If you could plan your own death?

What would the perfect death be? :|

I was thinking...for me, it would be a day when my kids and grand kids and great-grandkids were somewhere having a party or a family reunion or something. -Somewhere that I knew that my family was all smiling and having a good time. Then Joe and I are away traveling and seeing the world, so nobody really hears from us that frequently, so nobody would be worried if they didn't know where we were...and we have some type of agreement with our attorney that if he doesn't hear from us for a period of say, four months, that he is to assume we passed away during our travels and call the executor of the will.

No big funeral or painful loss; no agonizing for the family. We just pass on, with no interruption to our family's lives...

Just one last thing -I'd want to die at the same instant Joe does. I couldn't bare to be without him. :(

So that would be perfect. B|

How would you go out? In a blazing fireball? On KING 5 news? Saving the world? How would you do it? :)

I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama

I would be the oldest man in the world, and I would die doing something extreme (say, like skydiving), knowing that even though I was the oldest man in the world, I was still living life to the fullest. That'd be my perfect death. B|

Dunno how I want to die, I never really think about it.

One of my old college roommates always told me that since he was born naked he wants to die naked though.

I thought that was interesting....not the way i would personally want to go though.

By the time you read this you have already read it.

The perfect death, hmm...

I'd be 90+ years old with long white hair, retire to my bed at the end of the day, and durning the night pass on from my body to what's next, fully aware of the course of the event.

I have come to this vision through many years of reflection of upon the topic.

i would go out in a wreck down the mulsanne straight (pre-chicanes) (http://www.aysedasi.btinternet.co.uk/2002/trackmap.JPG) in one of these - http://www.quantumsoft.co.uk/files/clipart/jpegs/cars/McLaren_F1_LM.jpg. but not after a day or two's worth of laps

I haven't really thought about it too much. I do know that I don't fear death, but I sure fear getting dead. I don't want lots of pain, nor do I want to see my family agonize over a lingering death. I am not sure...I just don't know the answer.
