I am a heavy drinker... not so much that I drink heavily every day, but that when I go out I do tend to drink quite a bit... especially if I know I don't have to drive.

If I have to drive I just toss the one or two beers and call it an evening.

Most of my family including myself has an extremely high tolerance for alchohol... for me about 8-9 shots of whiskey before I get woozy. My cousin who is almost a foot shorter than me and barely creeps over 110lbs can drink me under the table though (guess her liver works overtime).

Surprisingly enough, only a couple of people in my family are true alchohoilcs and have a real problem with it. The rest just like to get "trashed" every now and then every few months or so.... no harm done.

ditto! love martinis - there must be, what, like 835 different types? so many yet to try....

call it a sissy drink if you like, but i really like chocolate martinis - made with Stoli Vanil and Godiva Dark Chocolate liquer...mmmmm. i try to limit myself to, say, 5 ;)

i'll second that Ro*! actually, the Bombshelter has some really nice martinis :)
and KITTY!! be sure to bring your liquor with you to skydive atlanta... thomaston is a Dry-County* i will have our hotel stocked with wine & bourbon, yaaaaay!

Lol...one of the bartenders at the Bombshelter made her very FIRST green apple martini for me, and she asked me my honest opinion. I explained how to make it MUCH better (how much of what to put in), and she made it again for me (no charge). The second one was MUCH better. Nobody had ever asked for those there before I came along, according to them. They thought it was funny of me to ask for an apple martini instead of a beer, but, hey, now they know how to make GOOD apple martinis at the Bombshelter! :ph34r: :$

Girl! I'm just gonna carry mine around in camelback!
hehe.. jk! I'll get a nice big bottle of grey goose and we'll have some frenchies!
(frenchies are vodka, chambord, and pineapple juice.. gotta be a good vodka though.. easy to shake up.. easier to drink! yum!)
