Got a DSL modem working last month at 1 mbps, and then recently hooked up a webcam, but initially could not get my video through the firewall. Then finally after some tips from my phone service's tech support, I set up a new internet connection with the firewall turned off, and viola! I tried it out with my deaf friend, and we were signing back and forth in sign language on MSN Messenger. It was pretty cool! Now I know my deaf mother in law will be happy as a pig in shit that we've got our video phone set up...
