I swear my house is haunted....

Recommended Posts

Okay so over the last few weeks, I've seen and heard some weird stuff.........such as....

One day I'm in the bathroom down in my basement. It's pretty large, you could draw a straight line from the toilet to the door (diagonally across the room) and it'd be just over 10 feet long to give you an idea of the length we're talkin here. So anyway, there's this tissue paper holder sitting on top of the toilet (the kind you wipe your NOSE with) with one of those heavy plastic holders. I walk out of the room, get about two steps outside the door when I hear something hit the door HARD. I look behind me and the tissue paper holder is laying by the door.

Last night my parents were due home from a trip, and I was aimlessly wandering around the house. I was walking down the stairs when I hear my front door open and slam shut very loudly. Trust me, I know the sound of my own door, and this was loud and unmistakable. (My front door was two rooms away at this point) So I walk in that direction, expecting to see my parents with tons of luggage, and instead I find an empty room with the door shut and locked.

On top of that there are weird things like swearing I see something move behind me when I look in mirrors at night, feeling this sense of being watched when I'm alone in the house, getting a feeling that something is horribly wrong............it's weird dude. :S

Anybody had any similar experiences? Should I call my local priest or something? B|:P

I've had a couple similar experiences. Did you see my post about seeing a ghost on the way to FL over the holidays?

As to what to do? Hell, I don't know, I know it would have already gotten to me at some level. Try googling around to find ghost groups and see their advice.

for someone describing some pretty scary stuff going on, you seem remarkably chilled about the whole affair!:)I have no experience of this sort of thing, but i have to say, it sounds like some odd stuff going on - how does the toilet holder move 10 ft to the door? Freak gust of wind? Perhaps. How does your front door open and close and then LOCK!? No freaking idea. (you're 100% it was your front door and not a car door outside or something?)

Do you have a video camera with night vision? Most have low level light settings. Set it up and record on long play all night in the living room and see if you come up with anything interesting in the morning. Like i said, i have no experience with this, but from what i gather you need to watch for small floating orbs of light, dark shadows being cast against objects, whispy white floating "gas" and Bob Hope.

It doesn't always have to be positive or negative "energy". It can be neutral and just be sharing space with you. You should try to get used to it because it's probably not going anywhere.

If it is negative, I suppose that you will find out soon enough. Hopefully, it's not, of course.

Do you know the house's history, and how long have you lived there?

I'm not sure, I get a pretty bad vibe now, but I've had weird good vibes in the same way for years. As for the houses history, don't know a lot. I've lived there my whole life, and my parents bought it from some old lady like 29 years ago. That's about the furthest extent of it. There was some weird stuff when I was a kid, but nothing has happened for years until the last few weeks. Crazy stuff if ya ask me...:SB|

There you go sweet cheeks! You too Sunshine:)
Rosa is right about the energy. Have you recently moved back into the house? It is strange that nothing for so many years and now badabing, but then again there is nothing 'logical' about 'energy' anyway so... Good luck!

It depends really. You can ask them not to bother you and that you will do the same for them. You can try to identify things that 'trigger' some events and acknowledge that these things 'bother' them. Whether they 'go away' or just keep to themselves, who knows. Something is keeping them there.
