eeneR 3 #1 January 23, 2005 Well with the snow we got the last few days, and the fact that skies were clear and beautiful, and wind was minimal I decided that I would go for a little hike at the Forest Preserve down the street from me. Well to make this even more fun, I finally got myself a new digital camera that i am learning the nuances of. A Fuji S5100...a very very nice camera I attached a few pics I took to day to give this baby a test drive. It is a shame I had to reduce resolution etc on these, as they are quite pretty, but im still learning to take good pics. This camera takes amazing pics, I was quite impressed with what I go for what I paid for it. On a pic of my dog I took when i got it, I could almost count the dog hair when I zoomed in in photoshop! The camera also has a built in 10x optical zoom...you can see it in action with Tree.jpg and treeupclose10x.jpg both pics were taken with me standing in the same spot one not zoomed and the other zoomed.. If you wear too much you will sweat and that is not good either.
