NWFlyer 2 #26 January 25, 2005 QuoteThis has been a bad year for Wa. State, snow melts so skiing sucks, added the snow melt to all the rain we've been having so we've been having the annual floods. Yeah, but it's been surprisingly decent skydiving weather (if you can stand the cold, and it wasn't even that cold this past weekend - only freezing at altitude. Who woulda thunk we'd have some of the best jumping weather in the country in the middle of January?). I've gotten at least two jumps in every weekend for the last six weeks (with the exception of Christmas week - I wasn't around so I'm not sure what the weather was like). And only two of those 14 jumps were hop & pops - everything else has been from 8-12K. Now if only we could get some snow on the ground before my trip to Whistler next weekend..."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. And with it comes the only basic human duty, the duty to take the consequences." -P.J. O'Rourke
Stacy 0 #27 January 25, 2005 Quote We do?? he kept me well entertained on many an occasion! Imagine if jraf had been around for plank walking. Quote Hell no, I wasn't jumping yesterday. Way too damn cold and windy. It was scary windy here (south of ZHills). I'll make the drive if it is questionable, but yesterday was *hell no* in my book. Figures, I get a job that I am not on call anymore and the weather turns to crap. or maybe it's TKs fault for getting married. teehee.
