Sometimes, they look better, and other times...um...different. Off topic, slightly. When my avatar used to be my face (and pretty much the only place I post is the WS forum usually), I went to a few big boogies and had literally like 5-6 people per day come up to me and tell me they recognized my face from DZ.com. That's the only reason I do put my face in my avatar because I like people being able to recognize me at dropzones and say hi. I especially like it at my home dz because then I'm able to make people feel more welcome and include them in jumps if they so wish. Downloading pics of me that are on here are a whole other issue. That's just plain creepy and it with bother me till my last breath. If guys were gentlemen and would pm me and ask if it would be ok, I'd probably be fine with that. But, when it's done on the sly to their on personal computers and then I don't know what's going to happen to them or what they are used for.... ICK!
