My theory is this: In order to keep appearing regularly in Odd News type publications, you have to have a certain number of dyfunctional people. To acquire enough, your state should have: Warm weather so that sleeping outside is ok. Large cities, so that social support freebies abound. Calif, Texas, and Florida have plenty of that. Apparently, Florida is the only one with enough strippers to take up the news slack on slow days when no one is doing something strange. There are other stories this week about a prosecutor getting caught passed out at a stoplight, and the charges being dropped against the sheriff, but they lack the humor of a good hooker story.
