POPS this year?

Recommended Posts

I'll be a POP this year. Who's with me? Forty is going to be fabulous...at least that's what I keep telling myself!

Wow! Most women would take that as an insult. I prefer to say:

Like wine, better with age:)

Aw, I didn't mean to insult folks, just joshing, if its any consolation, I'm older than Andrea, and I'm probably not that roadworthy.:)
If I were to say to you Rem...'Its in the post' would that make up for things?:)B|

So will you be 40 before the Dublin Boogie?

Nope, not till June. And no record jumps for me, all those people in the air at one time is scary! :o

I remember 40.

I think.:$

Faster horses, younger women, older whiskey, more money.

Why do they call it "Tourist Season" if we can't shoot them?

Welcome to Club Forty ! The company we keep just keeps getting better all the time. I'll be fifty in November, suppose it's time I got off my duff and joined POPS too. (I still remember being eighteen at the dropzone and seeing these old guys with POPS patches on their jumpsuits. Never even occurred to me I might be one of them someday.)

Late May fer me.

Perhaps you can set up the inaugeral POPS Free Fly Big-way record... set the bar... looks like they've never had one before.

You could launch a train with a few friends and get it.

Why not?

Turned 40 three days ago 1/30.

It’s interesting how your prospective changes as you have the advantage of more prospective. 15 years ago seems like such a short time to me, I can remember 30 years ago very well. It seems that time starts in a lot of ways with our birth, anything before 1965 is just “history” to me, suppose it’s the same for someone who’s 20 regarding 1985.
Experience is what you get when you thought you were going to get something else.

I'm sure I'll be there before I know it, though.
